Spirit World

In 1974, Spirit World began its journey to become an Omaha tradition. During the first fifteen years of operation, the store moved locations, expanded premium offerings, and added a gourmet café to help better serve area residents. Over the years, Spirit World became known as Omaha’s top destination for great food and spirits. Spirit World became the only place in town to get the best wines, beers, and spirits from around the world, and the café became the place to go for the best chicken and tuna salads in town.

In 2008, Laurie Hellbusch purchased the store with a vision of maintaining Spirit World’s legacy while bringing it new life. Today, Spirit World strives to deliver premium spirits to Omaha residents with exceptional, friendly service. “We want to bring Spirit World to life for a whole new generation in Omaha. We want everyone to know that they can trust Spirit World to be their friendly destination for a relaxing atmosphere and good drinks,” promises Laurie.

Located in Midtown Omaha in Aksarben Village, Spirit World has won Omaha Magazine’s Best of Omaha for over 10 years.
