VoucherCart Product Update Q2 2026: New Integrations and Platform Improvements
Welcome to the VoucherCart product update Q2 2026. It was a big quarter for connectivity, reservation automation, and reporting. We introduced self-service gift card redemption and automatic reservation creation for OPERA Cloud PMS users, expanded our payment integrations, and rolled out reporting and dashboard improvements designed to save your team time day-to-day.

New Integrations
VoucherCart Reservations Module (VRM) for Oracle OPERA Cloud
Hotels running Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS can now let guests redeem gift cards and vouchers online and have the reservation created automatically in OPERA — no manual entry required at the front desk. This closes the loop between voucher sales and bookings, cutting down on staff admin and reducing the risk of redemption errors during busy periods.

Mews Payments Integration: VRM
Properties using the Mews PMS gift card integration can already process voucher and gift card payments natively through Mews Payments. Now, the Mews Payments integration extends to the VoucherCart Reservation Module (VRM), whether properties run on Mews PMS or OPERA Cloud PMS.
OPERA Cloud Integration: Payment at Purchase
The OPERA Cloud gift card integration now has an optional feature that automatically posts gift card, voucher, membership, and ticket sales, and the associated customer payments, into the PMS at the time of purchase, not at redemption. This gives finance and front desk teams real-time transaction visibility and simplifies reconciliation and reporting.
Windcave Integration
A new payment gateway option, Windcave, is now available, extending VoucherCart’s payment coverage for operators in regions where Windcave is a preferred processor — notably Australia and New Zealand.
New Features
Automated Sales & Redeem Reports
You can now schedule gift card sales and redemption reports to generate and deliver automatically, instead of pulling them manually. This is especially useful for multi-venue operators and finance teams who need consistent, recurring reporting – daily, weekly, or monthly – without extra admin work.
Platform Improvements
Client Timezone Added to the Dashboard
The Dashboard now displays your local time, and order and redemption timestamps are shown in your account’s local timezone — making it easier to interpret activity at a glance, in the time your team actually works.
Partial Search of Voucher Codes
Both the Dashboard and POS App now support partial matching when searching for a voucher code — helpful when staff are searching quickly at the point of redemption.
Payment Gateway Refinements
Opayo Gateway
Refunds are now supported directly through Opayo, one of our integrated payment gateways, and general reliability improvements have been made to the integration.
Also This Quarter
Several smaller fixes and refinements were released in the VoucherCart product update Q2 2026, including bug fixes for the Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) POS integration and general improvements to voucher styling and the buyer experience.
