Experience required

An experienced growth hacker you’ll have a demonstrable track record of driving significant growth and engagement in your current or past role(s), across multiple markets, for one or more world renowned internet businesses.

A strategic thinker, you’ll be a highly experienced digital all-rounder capable of hands-on implementation on our website, in our APPs, our social channels, across all our marketing channels and with our technology partners. You’ll pay close attention to detail and have a strong bias to action, able to work at a fast pace, and comfortable making quick decisions.

You’ll be data-driven and analytical, with a deep understanding of growth metrics and KPIs. You’ll be well versed in social media strategies to drive viral behaviours and growth.

Responsibilities

In this cross-functional role, you’ll be developing and optimising our users’ journey across all stages of our marketing funnel.

You’ll be responsible for international, multi-language SEO strategy and implementation, instructing and allocating budget to paid campaigns, running A/B tests, interpreting results, and presenting them to management. Improving conversion rates at each stage of the funnel will be your North Star.

Skills

Your ability to analyse customer behaviour through qualitative data and number crunching is outstanding. You’ll have some solid coding experience, superb Excel skills and you’ll have experience of tools like Moz, AhRefs, SEMRush, Optimizely, KISSmetrics and import.io.

You’re also passionate about technology and using it to do things better – even if that involves tearing up the rule book. You’re subscribed to the best CRO and SaaS metrics blogs.

Person Specification:

You will:

  • Possess up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of Search Console (Webmaster Tools), Rich Snippets, Schema and MicroData
  • Posses strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong/current knowledge of White-Hat SEO best practices, Google Algorithm Factors, Video for SEO etc.
  • You will have a good understanding of Paid Advertising and Digital Marketing Communications.
  • Demonstrate good awareness of LinkedIn Marketing, Facebook for Business Promotion, Facebook Marketing and Social Media engagement strategies.
  • Be able to research and formulate SEO Strategy, implement and report.

Other Skills/Good to have:

  • Basic level of Graphic Design skills (Photoshop/Fireworks/Adobe Creative Suite)

As part of a multi-disciplinary digital team representing our business in Europe and other global territories from our base in Edinburgh, you will take leading responsibility for Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing activities, Managing Digital Team with a particular focus on Content Production, On-Site Optimisation and Social Media Marketing (SMM).

You will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of what VoucherCart is and how it works.
  • Work on marketplace mapping – sector targeting, geographic targeting and demographic targeted segmentation. (Know your buyer)
  • Conduct Keyword Research (Wordstream, Keywords.io/Other)
  • Submit Top 200 Keyphrase list to Spanish, Italian, German, French and other Language Teams for translation.
  • Analyse On-Site SEO and action changes required
  • Conduct On-Site SEO (Wordpress (SEO Yoast)
  • Work with tools such as Wordstream, Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools), AHRefs
  • Be responsible for conducting and reporting on marketing campaigns via Facebook, Adwords and other digital channels.
